We watched a filmed lecture by Dr. Kurt Wise titled, "GEOLOGY: FLOOD SEDIMENTOLOGY," recorded at the "IS GENESIS HISTORY?" Conference held June 19-23, 2017 in Nashville, Tennessee. (CLICK title to view lecture.) The lecture cites many evidences that only a flood of global extent could have laid down the mega-sequences of geologic deposits found around the world today. The Flood was a one-off catastrophic event that produced many features inexplicable in terms of today's slow and gradual processes. About our Speaker: Kurt Wise earned his Ph.D. in Paleontology from Harvard University under the late evolutionist, Steven J. Gould. Dr. Wise also has an M.A. in Geology from Harvard, and a B.A. in Geology from the University of Chicago. Dr. Wise is Director of the Creation Research Center of Truett McConnell University in Cleveland, Georgia, and is former Director of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary's Center for Theology and Science. Prior to that, he served as Director of the Center for Origins Research at Bryan College in Dayton, Tennessee.
